Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Extends Sponsorship with Kevin Harvick Inc.

06/29/10

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (June 29, 2010) — Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today that Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, one of America’s largest retailers of closeouts, surplus and salvage merchandise, has extended their relationship with KHI and will sponsor four-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday in the inaugural Truck Series race at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway July 31.

As a fan of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and frequent Ollie’s shopper, Hornaday is looking forward to having the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet colors on the No. 33 truck. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to drive the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet No. 33 truck when we get to Pocono,” said Hornaday. “Ollie’s just opened a store near my house in Mooresville, North Carolina, and it’s great that my wife and I can support a fun sponsor like Ollie’s as they support me and my team.”

Continuing to grow their presence by expanding their number of locations across the Mid-Atlantic, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet also sees value in expanding their presence in NASCAR.

“What better way to raise awareness of the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet brand than to continue our relationship with KHI while they are racing just up the road from our headquarters in Harrisburg,” said Ollie’s President and CEO Mark Butler. “We have been able to partner for a lot of exciting events through our association with KHI and the NASCAR community and we can’t wait to see the Ollie’s signature colors on the No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado speeding around the tricky triangle at Pocono!”

“To see Ollie’s Bargain Outlet grow their relationship with KHI is exciting,” said KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick. “It’s always encouraging to announce continued partnerships and I can’t wait to see Ron in the one-of-a-kind Ollie’s truck at Pocono.”

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet’s signature yellow, black and red will adorn the No. 33 truck along with the Harrisburg Senators, the host of the 2010 Eastern League All-Star Game.  The Harrisburg Senators are Ollie’s Bargain Outlet’s hometown Double A baseball team and Ollie’s is the presenting sponsor of the All Star game on July 14.
