BEFORE ENTERING
1. Enter your user name or the name you use on the message
board.
2. It will take a while but be patience. The java chat
programs take a while to open.
3.
It will again ask you to type in a user name. Type in the
name you use on the message board.
4. Enjoy chatting at #YoungGuns.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Please read and follow the rules listed below.
FOR THOSE WHO USE MIRC:
After opening your mirc chat, type /join #YoungGuns.com
THINGS TO DO ONCE YOU ARE IN CHAT
REGISTER YOUR NAME – this keeps other people from
coming into chat and using your name. To register your name
type: /nickserv register password youremail
Make sure you use a password you can remember. Each time you
come to chat, you will be asked your password. Once you get
an email verifying your name is registered, keep it in case
you forget your password. Never never, tell anyone what your
password is, except parents of course.
REMEMBER – Hopefully there will be someone moderating or
at least logging the conversation at all times. This person
also will have an auto-kick program running. This program
will automatically kick a chatter out of the room for
cursing. So, it you won’t say it to momma, don’t say it in
chat!

THE RULES........ |
1. No cursing, swearing or profanity of any type.
2. No bashing of other people or drivers. Be nice or be
quiet.
3. DO NOT give out your full name, address or phone number to
anyone.
4. No flooding of channel. (flooding – typing the same thing
multiple times)
5. ALL parents are welcome, at all times.
6. If you have to leave then leave completely, no lurking
allowed.
7. After getting kicked out of chat three (3) times, you will
be banned for three (3) days. Get banned three (3) different
times and you are banned for good. Just remember – 3 strikes
and you are OUT!!!!!
8. No chatting during school hours on weekdays. If school is
snowed out or on some sort of holiday or break, then by all
means enjoy chatting! Schoolwork will always come first!
Hopefully, there will be a moderator or op in the room at all
times. They might not be visiting with you but the
conversation will be logged. They will also be running an
auto-kick program. This program will kick someone out of the
room for cursing.
Enjoy and have fun. The conversation doesn’t always have to
be about racing. We might try to play some trivia games some
weekend. |
