NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race 19 of 25 – New Hampshire Motor Speedway

GOING FOR FOUR: There are only two tracks on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule where four-time champion Ron Hornaday has three wins under his belt, and New Hampshire Motor Speedway is one of them (2008, 2007,1996). Hornaday will be behind the wheel of the No. 33 Cooked Perfect Meatballs Chevrolet Silverado for the F.W. Webb 175 on Saturday aiming to capture his fourth win at the 1.058-mile oval. In 10 Truck Series starts, the veteran driver has one pole, five top-five and seven top-10 finishes and has led 560 laps at New Hampshire.

HOME TURF FOR COOKED PERFECT MEATBALLS: The No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) Chevrolet will feature Cooked Perfect Meatballs this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The Home Market Foods Company will be right at home with their company headquarters located less than two hours from the track. Cooked Perfect recently joined the KHI team for the Wednesday night showdown at Bristol Motor Speedway on August 24. The team was relegated to a 24th-place finish after making contact with the wall on lap 10. The Home Market Food brand was also on board the No. 33 Chevrolet at Martinsville Speedway in April where the team brought home a third-place finish.

CHASSIS HISTORY: The No. 33 Cooked Perfect Meatballs team will bring chassis No. 058 to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend. Chassis No. 058 was most recently used at Nashville Superspeedway in July. The team also competed with this chassis at Kansas Speedway in June and Charlotte Motor Speedway in May.

PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Hornaday drove the No. 33 Anderson’s Maple Syrup Chevrolet Silverado to a 10th-place finish at Chicagoland Speedway last Friday night after qualifying 16th for the Fast Five 225. The No. 33 team spent the majority of the 150-lap event battling for position inside the top 10 before bringing home Hornaday’s 203rd top-10 finish in the series.

MOST POPULAR DRIVER: There is still plenty of time to vote for the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Most Popular Driver award. Hornaday has taken home the honors twice, most recently in 2005 and 1997. Fans can vote for Hornaday now through November 17 on NASCAR.com.

THOUGHTS FROM THE DRIVER: Ron Hornaday
What are your expectations going into the race at Loudon?
“I really like Loudon. I’ve got three wins there, and it’s a track where you will have a lot of side-by-side racing. That always puts on a great show for the fans. You’ve really got to have the whole package at this race track to come through the field. Track position is critical, so hopefully we will have a fast Cooked Perfect Meatballs Chevrolet in qualifying and be able to start up front.”
