DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 28, 2011)—OneMain Financial will be onboard with two of the heavyweights in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event this weekend at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Sadler, a contender for the Nationwide Series championship, will steer the No. 2 OneMain Financial Chevrolet, and Kevin Harvick, team co-owner and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular, will compete in the No. 4 OneMain Financial Chevrolet.
July 1, 2011 marks the official launch of the organization’s new brand from CitiFinancial to OneMain Financial in more than 1300 locations in the United States. Harvick, full-time driver of the No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will drive the No. 4 OneMain Financial Chevrolet this weekend. He has made 17 starts at Daytona with one win in 2007, two pole awards, 12 top-five and 14 top-10 finishes and has led a total of 215 at the track in the Nationwide Series.
Sadler, who is competing full-time in the Nationwide Series this season in the No. 2 OneMain Financial Chevrolet, has competed at Daytona in the series four times, with a best finish of 15th in 1997. He has led a total of 30 laps at the 2.5-mile track in the Nationwide Series, and looks to lead more this weekend. In the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Sadler has made 24 starts, with four top-five and nine top-10 finishes at the track with 58 laps led. The Emporia, Va., native has also made two starts at Daytona in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with one top-five and one top-10, and 56 laps led.
