Quotes | Kevin Harvick

“I always look forward to racing at Texas. I’ve had a lot of success there in the XFINITY Series and I’d really like to go out there this weekend and continue that with a strong run in my final start in the No. 88 Hunt Brothers Pizza Chevrolet for JR Motorsports this season.”

Dave Elenz, crew chief

“It definitely helps us to have Kevin (Harvick) in the car for two consecutive races. It think it helps anytime we have a driver back-to-back. The communication is already open. You’re not talking to him again for the first time in a couple weeks. He knows what’s on our mind from the last race. It’s still fresh in his mind.”

Notes | No. 88 Team

LONE STAR STATE OF MIND: Harvick has been very successful at Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) with five victories, eight top-five and 14 top-10 efforts in 17 starts, making him second on the overall NXS win list at the track. The racing veteran also owns the most victories in the fall NXS Texas race with four. His most recent win came in the fall of 2012.

HARVICK’S SEASON RECAP: Behind the wheel of the JR Motorsports (JRM) No. 88 Chevrolet, Harvick has two wins, four top-five and eight top-10 efforts in 11 NXS starts this season. This weekend will mark his final start with JRM in 2015.

HARVICK’S JRM HISTORY: The 2015 NXS season marks the second year Harvick has driven for JRM. Through 26 starts in that span, he has six wins, 16 top-five and 23 top-10 finishes - more than any other driver in JRM’s all-star car in the last two years. Additionally, Harvick also drove the team’s No. 00 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entry at Pocono Raceway, finishing second earlier this year.

WINNINGEST CHASSIS: Harvick is looking forward to his return Texas, where he’ll drive chassis No. 892, the winningest of the No. 88 stable. He has driven this chassis to a pair of victories on the season (Atlanta and Fontana).

HUNT TO WIN SWEEPSTAKES: Time is running out to enter in the Hunt Brothers Pizza Hunt to Win Sweepstakes with a grand prize of a Bad Boy Buggies Recoil iS and more. Get details at http://www.huntbrotherspizza.com/hunttowin.
