Notes | No. 88 Team

HARVICK AT BRISTOL: Harvick has a total of 26 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) starts at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS), earning an impressive total of five wins, 15 top-five and 21 top-10 finishes with two poles. He’s led more than 1,200 laps at the world’s fastest half-mile, and while his most recent victory came in 2009, he earned one top-five and two top-10 finishes at the facility in 2014. The two- time NXS champion also holds the NXS records for the most top-five, top-10 and lead-lap finishes at BMS.

HARVICK IN 2015: Harvick has been on a roll in the NXS in 2015. In his three starts, the JR Motorsports driver has dominated, racking up two wins (Atlanta, Auto Club) and three top-three finishes for an average of 1.7. He currently leads the series in race wins this season.

HBP RACING: Hunt Brothers Pizza embarks on its fifth year of partnership with Kevin Harvick in 2015, and second with JRM. The No. 88 Chevy will carry the green, red and white colors of Hunt Brothers Pizza this weekend in the Nashville- headquartered company’s home state. In addition to the spring race at BMS, the No. 88 will showcase the nation’s largest brand of made-to-order pizza in the convenience store industry for four other races, including Richmond (April 24), Charlotte (May 23), Bristol (August 21) and Texas (November 7).

JRM ALL-TIME WINNERS: Harvick earned his 46th career NXS victory in Fontana, Calif. in his most recent outing in the No. 88 Chevy, which was his sixth under the JR Motorsports banner. The effort ties him with Brad Keselowski for the most wins by a JRM driver.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY(S): Richard Boswell, race engineer for the No. 88 Hunt Brothers Pizza team, has double the reason to celebrate this week. On April 14, he and his wife Ashley welcomed their second daughter, Grace Domenica, born just four days before his 31st birthday.
