Kevin Harvick and son Keelan enjoyed a night at the diamond at BB&T Ballpark in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina.
The stadium is the home of Triple-A baseball's Charlotte Knights, which is also playing host to a three-day All-Star celebration that kicked off on Monday night.
The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion was named one of seven celebrity captains for the 2016 Triple-A baseball Home Run Derby.
Harvick also received a generous $1,000 check from the Charlotte Knights during the competition, benefitting the Kevin Harvick Foundation, an organization he and wife DeLana started in 2010.
Overall, it looked like the perfect way to spend a summer evening for a good cause.
