If Kevin Harvick wins the Daytona 500, he will have a little extra bling to show off thanks to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Saturday, UFC lightweight fighter “Cowboy” Donald Cerrone presented Harvick with one of the promotion's replica title belts. According to UFC officials, Harvick is just the third person outside of the organization to be presented with a belt, and he said if he shows up in Victory Lane today he plans to wear it.

“It's really neat, to be honest with you,” he said. “I just feel honored to touch the belt.”

Cerrone has had a longstanding relationship with Harvick, and last June, Kevin Harvick Inc. took over the fighter's management.

“NASCAR is a huge sport, and for (Harvick) to be a fan of (mixed martial arts) like he is, to me, it was just a thank-you,” Cerrone said of the belt presentation. “You know, thanks for bringing all the Fortune 500 companies that are involved in NASCAR into the UFC.”

Cerrone (22-6) is slated to face Edson Barboza (13-1) at the UFC on Fox 11 on April 19 at the Amway Center in Orlando. Harvick said he plans to be on hand for the fight.

“I might bring (the belt) with me, bring it to the suite and, right before the fight, call (Cerrone) up there and remind him of what he is there for,” he joked.
