When NASCAR unveiled its new Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup format prior to the 2014 season, we knew just based on the added emphasis given to victories that we'd be privy to extra intensity, high stakes and most importantly -- clutch moments.

We witnessed perhaps the most clutch moment in NASCAR history this past Sunday when Kevin Harvick held off Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano to not only win the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship, but the race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, too.
