It didn’t take long Thursday for defending Sprint Cup champion Kevin Harvick to get asked about his goals for the upcoming season.

In fact, Harvick was asked if last season’s title meant he had reached all of the milestones he had imagined for his career.

He said that was true.

Harvick also said when you obtain all of your goals, you just set new ones.

First on his new list?

“The first thing on the agenda is winning the Daytona 500,” Harvick said.

After that, Harvick said he thinks he can make a run at another title.

“As you come into this year, knowing we can do the things that we accomplished last year is very rewarding,” he said. “And it is a great confidence builder for our guys and team.

“We know we can thrive in those situations, be successful in those situations and win races if we put all the pieces together correctly.”
