2006 NASCAR Nationwide Series

Kevin earned his second Busch Series Championship this year, dominating the Series and claiming his title by a margin of 824 points. He took the points lead after the second race and never relinquished it. Harvick's year-end stats are impressive: in 35 starts, he earned nine wins, 23 top-5 finishes, 32 top-10 finishes and three poles. His points lead was so vast that he clinched the Championship in late October, with four races still remaining on the schedule. Kevin drove the No. 21 Coast Guard Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing and the No. 33 Outdoor Channel/Dollar General Chevrolet for his own company, Kevin Harvick Inc.
