Harvick OnLine: Chat Room Rules

Welcome to the Harvick OnLine Chat Room. The rules here are pretty simple and should be easy to follow. To make sure that participants abide by our rules, we have a few "Chat Room Ops" who volunteer their time and effort to keep the room in line. Please respect them.

Here are our guidelines:

1. Participants will be expected to maintain basic courtesy toward others. We expect participants to agree or disagree in a civil manner. Personal attacks, cursing, "spamming" (repeating the same thing over and over again), and other behaviors deemed unacceptable by our chat room ops can and will result in your being banned from the chat room. Participants will receive a warning (either verbal or a "kick") and will be given the opportunity to cease their behavior before being banned.

2. Participants will be expected to respect and maintain basic courtesy towards the Chat Room Ops. If they ask you to stop doing something, even if you disagree and think you should be allowed to, you must stop or you will be kicked from the room. If you have a complaint, please direct them to webmaster@kevinharvick.com and it will be addressed.

Our Chat Room Ops are: CANfan, etfor29, Jeanie29, jrharvickfan, AK fan and Roo.

3. Please do not post ANY personal information of any kind in this chat room. This includes addresses, phone numbers, personal email addresses, etc. You never know who is in chat with you and what they will use that information for.

4. If the chat room is full and you find yourself carrying on a conversation with one other participant, and it is not a conversation that everyone can read and enjoy, please take it to email or another forum. For example, if you and another chatter are discussing a racing incident...that's fine. But if you and another chatter are discussing boyfriend issues, a new recipe you just found, a date you went on, etc...take it elsewhere. Now, if it's just you and a couple other folks and no one minds...that's fine. Just use your best judgment.

5. Do not "park" yourself in the chat room. If you are not participating, please log off so your nickname is not just sitting there.
