on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Stramler Park in Bakersfield, CA. Gates
will open at 6:00 pm. The event features dinner provided by Famous
Dave's Restaurant, live and silent auction, raffle and live music.
Tickets are available at all VALLITIX locations or by calling North High
School at 399-3351. Adult tickets are $55.00 each and children ages
3-10 are $15.00. Proceeds benefit the North High School wrestling
program.

Bakersfield Speedway adds to its list of all-star names, this time with the
introduction of Kevin Harvick Night, Thursday June 19th. Bakersfield bred
racer Kevin Harvick will take to the historic 1/3 clay mile before returning
to the Sprint Cup Series Friday at Infineon Raceway. Harvick will be racing
an IMCA modified provided by a driver and competing against the best
Bakersfield has to offer. The modifieds, which will be running a non-points
event, will be accompanied by support divisions American Stocks and Mini
Dwarfs, who will both be running for seasonal points. Gates open at 4:00pm
with racing starting at 6:00pm. Advanced tickets will go on sale May 1st at
