Kevin Harvick’s Comments on
the Passing of Bill France Jr.
WELCOME,
N.C. (June 5, 2007) – The following is a statement from Kevin Harvick, driver
of the No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil Chevrolet, regarding the passing of NASCAR Vice
Chairman Bill France Jr.
"The passing of Bill France Jr. is a huge loss to everyone that knew him,
especially those in the NASCAR community. Mr. France’s vision and leadership
has made NASCAR what it is today. We will forever be grateful for the
opportunity he provided us to make a living doing what we love to do. DeLana
and I will miss him tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Betty
Jane, Brian, Lesa and the entire France family."
