“Yes, we do have a test before we head up to Oxford with the Late Model. It’s been a few years since I drove one, so I want to make sure everything on the car is ready to go, including the driver.”

I was wondering what the story is that I have been hearing, about KHI joining up with another team owner and entering into the NHRA, Drag Racing scene? - Thanks, Mike S.
“DeLana and I are interested in branching out a little bit in the motorsports world. We feel like the NHRA might be able to offer our sponsors another outlet and reach markets that NASCAR can’t. We’re getting out feet wet so to speak, and so far have liked what we have seen. Could there be a KHI drag team in 09, yes, but only if the opportunity and situation are right.”

Did you and Clint watch the KU/UNC game together after the Nationwide race? If so, was there a lot of bickering during the game? Did you wager with Clint on the game? If so, what did you have to do, since KU won? Good luck on the rest of the season, keep digging! – Angie

“The fire suits really are comfortable. In fact, even on hot days, they aren’t too bad. I just appreciate the fact that I feel safer on pit road, and I wouldn’t sit on the pit box through a pit stop without one.”

What did DeLana think of the Top Fuel Dragsters? Was it at all what you expected? My favorite part is the way it shakes my chest when they take the green till they pull the shoots...IT'S AWESOME!!!
