Ingredients: |
-
lb hamburger
meat
-
1 block mild
cheddar cheese
-
1 can cream
corn chopped jalapeno peppers ( I use the Trappey's
sliced in a jar and chop from there) # depends on your
taste
-
1 box Jiffy
cornbread mix
-
1 egg
-
1/3 cup milk
|
|
Preparations: |
Preheat oven to 400 Brown hamburger meat and drain Shred
your block of cheese Mix Jiffy as directed w/ the 1 egg
and 1/3 cup of milk Add cream corn and jalapenos to Jiffy
and mix well.
In cast iron skillet - pour 1/2 of the Jiffy batter Add
hamburger meat and then pour the remaining batter on top.
If it does not cover the meat completely it is okay. Top
with the shredded cheese and place in oven until
cornbread is nice and brown with the cheese melted.
