  Chile Verde

Ingredients:
  • 4lbs. Pork roast (1/2in. diced pieces) 
     
  • 4 cans Ortega Chiles 
     
  • 1 can Herdez Red Sauce 
     
  • 1 can Herdez Green Sauce 
     
  • 1 can Stewed tomatoes W/Ortegas or Jalap. 
     
  • 2 jalapenos 
     
  • 1/2 Cup Cilantro chopped 
     
  • 1/2 med. onion 
     
  • salt and pepper 
     
  • cumin
Preparation:
Brown and season pork in skillet, add salt and pepper to taste, lots of cumin. Add all other ingredients into a stew pot while pork is browning. When Pork is brown add to stew pot with other ingredients. Bring all to a slow boil, reduce heat and simmer for at least 2 hours, more is recommended.
 
Comments:
I sent in this one, because Kevin loves Mexican Food and he will love this dish.  Serves 6-8.
